About Us

Founded in 1995, our primary focus was supplying products for major OEM’s, popular brands and private label programs. Today, we maintain a complete Staff of Creative, Merchandising and Logistics Professionals in Kansas City and we manage a global supply network with DRI sourcing throughout Asia.

While much has changed over the years as our Company has grown, our commitment to quality and innovation still remains true to founder Dave Reid’s original vision. Due to Dave’s dedication and a team of passionate Staff members, DRI excels at each phase of product specialization from trend analysis, design, sourcing, operations and importing. This fully integrated approach has elevated the company to one of the most respected turnkey apparel solution companies in the world today.

Sister Companies

With our commitment to blazing new trails in the apparel industry came opportunities to build on our strengths and expand our offering to existing and new customers. We added three unique sister companies to the DRI Family including:

Caps Direct

In 2002, Caps Direct was formed, as a business-to-business resource for extraordinary custom headwear, serving the corporate identity market.

DRI DUCK

In 2003, DRI DUCK was formed, specializing in clothing for the worker and the outdoor enthusiast.

Creative Resources, INK

In 2006, Creative Resources, INK was formed as a boutique design studio, becoming an alternative to a large agency for small business needs.

Domestic

Design Resources is headquartered in Overland Park, Kansas, a suburb of Kansas City. The company also operates a Distribution/Warehouse facility in Lenexa, Kansas. Offices are shared with our sister companies—Caps Direct, DRI DUCK Traders and Creative Resources, INK.

Overseas

DRI wholly owns and operates our overseas offices in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Singapore. In addition, we maintain long time affiliates in South Korea, China, Taiwan, and Bangladesh.
